First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit
Six revised credit issues effective for purchasers January 1-December 1, 2009.
1. Maximum credit amount increased to $8000 no payback
2. Purchasers who utilize revenue bond financing can use credit.
3. No repayment for purchases on or after January 1 and before December 1, 2009
4. If home is sold within three years of purchase, entire amount of credit is recaptured on sale. Applies only to homes bought in 2009.
5. Termination is December 1, 2009
6. All revisions effective as of january 1, 2009
